Hydraulic
diaphragm pumps are renowned for their durability, but start-up
and maintenance can be laborious, particularly when service
requires purging and replacing intermediate fluids. Additionally,
many designs are very sensitive to changing suction conditions.
If undiagnosed, blocked or starved suction can lead to hydraulic
overfill and subsequent diaphragm failure.
Mechanical diaphragm pumps are far less sophisticated. Start-up
and service are typically much smoother since there are no
messy intermediate fluids, internal relief valves or hydraulic
refill circuits to tamper with. But, until now, mechanical
diaphragm pumps haven't shared the hydraulic diaphragm pump's

STROKE LENGTH:
Liquid end size 1 and 2: 0.188" (4.8mm)
Liquid end size 3, 4, 5 and 61/2: .0375" (9.6mm)
ACCURACY:
Reapeatable metering accuracy is +/-2% of full scale, at constant
hydraulic conditions, over 10:1 operating range.
SUCTION LIFT:
The pump will self prime with a 10ft. of water suction lift
(wetted valves, zero back pressure, full stroke and spreed,
waterlike solutions). Once primed, the pump will operate with
a 10ft. of water suction lift. Flooded suction is recommended. |
